About Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is M365's collaboration and communication hub — combining persistent chat, meetings, calls, channels, files, apps and webinars in one platform. For most M365 organisations, Teams is the digital front door to daily work.

It's best used for team collaboration, meetings and webinars, enterprise voice, channel-based project work, cross-company collaboration through guest access, and as the delivery surface for M365 apps, Copilot and custom agents. Every role benefits, but project teams, managers, hybrid workforces, customer-facing teams and anyone in meetings most of the day feel the difference most. Teams solves the long-standing problem of communication being scattered across email, file shares, phone and meeting tools — by pulling all of it together into a single, searchable, integrated workspace where conversations, files and decisions live in the same place.
