1. Who we are

Haedlern is a Microsoft 365 training and adoption consultancy operated by Kamil Brzezinski, based in Poland. As the operator of haedlern.com, we are the data controller for any personal data collected through this website.

2. Data we collect

We collect data in two ways:

• Analytics (only with your consent) — Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited, time on page, approximate location (country/city), device type, and how you arrived at the site. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. We do not collect names or email addresses through analytics.
• Contact form — when you submit a booking enquiry, you provide your name, job title, company, and work email address voluntarily.

We do not use any advertising networks, sell data, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Contact form data

When you submit the booking form on this site, your data is:

• Received and stored by Netlify (our hosting provider) through their Forms service
• Used solely to respond to your enquiry and arrange a discovery call
• Not shared with any third party for marketing or profiling purposes
• Retained for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted

You can request deletion of your submitted data at any time by emailing kamil.brzezinski@haedlern.com.

4. Legal basis for processing

• Analytics cookies — your explicit consent, given via the cookie banner on first visit (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw this consent at any time.
• Contact form submissions — legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries you have initiated (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

5. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-9TFNG95TMC). Google LLC acts as our data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Analytics data may be transferred to and processed in the United States under Google's standard contractual clauses.

Google Analytics is only loaded after you explicitly accept cookies. If you decline, no analytics data is collected at any point during your visit.

6. How long we keep data

• Analytics data — 14 months, as per the GA4 default data retention setting
• Contact form submissions — up to 12 months from the date of submission

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data
• Withdraw consent — for analytics cookies, at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page
• Object — to processing based on legitimate interest
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Complaint — lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, UODO (Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych)

8. Cookies

We use one category of cookies — analytics — which are only set after your explicit consent. We also use a single functional cookie to remember your cookie preference.

You can withdraw analytics consent and clear cookies at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page, or by clearing your browser cookies directly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will always reflect the most recent version. Significant changes will be noted here.
